Volunteer of the Year Award
Regional Parks are operated by a board of directors. All directors are volunteers for their park and therefore, their community. Some of these volunteers have been on the park board for literally years and have devoted themselves to the betterment of the park facility.
Each Regional Park also has a core of volunteers who may not be on the board, but can be counted on for projects or special occasion assistance. The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes the time, effort and dedication that a Volunteer offers to their Regional Park.
To be nominated for this Award, the Volunteer must be currently volunteering at a Regional Park.
